About Me

I write, edit, make photos and create videos. I enjoy creating multimedia packages and writing enterprise stories about a variety of topics.

 

I covered the Texas Legislature an intern at the Austin American-Statesman in the spring of 2021. I was also a fellow at The Texas Tribune in fall 2020. I was a breaking news intern at The Dallas Morning News in summer 2020. I also previously worked as a news desk editor and photographer at The Daily Texan at UT-Austin.

 

In summer 2019, I was a Texas Associated Press Managing Editors intern at The El Paso Times. I learned the importance of accurate and compassionate local reporting. I covered topics such as immigration, politics, healthcare and breaking news.

I also served as the 2018-2019 editor in chief at The Et Cetera, the student newspaper at Eastfield College.  The 2018 Et Cetera received a national Pacemaker award from the Associated Collegiate Press for its website.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends and watching documentaries.
